Unitek EMT offers updated equipment and tools that allow for a real, hands-on EMS experience. Through a combination of expert lectures, hands-on exercises, and clinical simulations, you can gain the knowledge and skills you’ll need at our Arizona facility. The goal is to simulate a real-life, emergency situation where future EMTs like yourself will be able to take the reins and learn how to calmly react.
It should be noted that there are several fabulous hotels located within just a few miles of our Tempe facility. Students can rent a room at the Marriott, Hilton, TownePlace Suites, Hampton Inn, and several other hotels nearby.
Tempe and the surrounding area is home to numerous parks, hiking spots, and outdoor activities, so you are sure to find something you like. One popular spot is the San Tan Mountain Regional Park! If you love the great outdoors, then this regional park might be the perfect destination for you. There are various trails for beginner or advanced hikers, and the park’s website maintains a list of upcoming events.
There’s nothing like an EMT Boot Camp to work up an appetite. Near our facility, you’ll find the Chandler Fashion Center. One of the largest malls in the Phoenix metropolitan area, this center hosts a variety of shops, restaurants, and beauty salons. Just south of our facility, there’s also The Shoppes at Casa Paloma that offer several shops to accommodate any of your needs during your stay in Tempe.
